Homeschool Sewing at The Makery in North Scituate (Ages 7+): 371 Gannett Road. Learn to sew! Students will learn how to safely use a sewing machine including threading, winding a bobbin, changing stitches and troubleshooting problems. They will learn sewing techniques such as sewing straight and curved lines, making an elastic casing, hemming, applique, hand sewing and more! The sewing machines have a speed control to help keep little fingers safe but students are expected to be mature enough to listen and follow directions to use the machines and tools safely. 6 weeks. 6 maximum participants. Instructor/Owner: Caitlin MuroWednesdays: April 29—June 3. 1:30pm – 3:00pm FEE: $175
