Sticks & Stones Camp Camp Overview: Welcome to Sticks & Stones Camp! This 5-day summer lacrosse adventure for grades 1-6 is designed for players of all skill levels to build confidence, enhance their skills, and develop a love for the game. Running from 9 AM to 3 PM, each day focuses on key lacrosse fundamentals through fun drills, games, and team-building activities. Daily Themes: Day 1: Introduction to Lacrosse & Cradling — Learn the basics of lacrosse, stick handling, and cradling techniques through interactive drills. Day 2: Catching and Throwing (with Obstacle Courses) — Master passing and catching skills while navigating fun obstacle challenges. Day 3: Ground Balls & Defense (with Relay Races) — Focus on defensive strategies, ground ball techniques, and teamwork through exciting relay races. Day 4: Offense (with Water Balloon Games) — Sharpen offensive plays with shooting drills and creative games. (Water activities subject to weather conditions.) Day 5: Tournament Day — Showcase skills in friendly tournaments, small-sided games, and team competitions. Camp Highlights: Skill Development: Cradling, passing, catching, shooting, ground balls, offensive and defensive techniques. Game Play: Scrimmages, mini-tournaments, and position-specific drills to apply skills in real-game situations. Fun Challenges: Obstacle courses, relay races, and water games to keep campers active and engaged. Team-Building Activities: Activities designed to foster communication, collaboration, and sportsmanship.
