Stage 4 uses the strong body position and stamina developed in earlier stages to incorporate stroke technique. Swimmers will become proficient in Front Crawl (freestyle) and Backstroke. Swimmers will be introduced to breaststroke and butterfly kicks. Swimmers will also start to build endurance of 15-25 yards. All four strokes/kicks must be mastered before advancing.
Prerequisite Skills: Stage 4 or swim evaluation.
All program withdraw or transfer requests must be received in writing before the 20th of the month prior to the program start date. After the 20th of the month, all credit and transfer requests are at the discretion of the program director.
No swim lessons will be held before 2pm on Sunday, July 19 for our Annual Lifeguard Games Event
No class will be held the week of Monday August 24 through Sunday August 30 for our Enhancement Week.
