Dessert Decorating Classes For familiesFOR ALL CLASSES:SITE: West Salem Park & Rec OfficeAGES: Any-children aged 10 & under must be accompanied by an adultREGISTRATION MIN/MAX: 4 / 8 per session*All materials will be provided for you to unleash your inner artist*
These classes are for the entire family - whether blood relatives or chosen family. Up to 6 people can work on a shared project for one registration fee (varies from class to class.) Children aged 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Prices and allowed group sizes vary by class. *ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED*
Decorate a Donut Day — Sunday, September 14, 1:00–3:00 PM In this playful family decorating class, each group will decorate six full-size donuts using bright glaze, playful toppings, and fun techniques. Learn to dip, marble, and drizzle, then top it all off with sprinkles, fondant shapes, and chocolate mold decorations. This class is designed for creativity, laughter, and making memories together! $30 per group (6 donuts to decorate; up to 6 people/group)
Marshmallow Monsters — Sunday, October 5, 1:00–3:00pmGet ready for some spooky fun! In this beginner-friendly decorating class, your family or group will create silly and sweet marshmallow monsters using marshmallows, chocolate, sprinkles, and candy. We’ll cut and shape the marshmallows on sticks, dip them in melted chocolate, then decorate them as friendly mummies, bats, and colorful creatures. It’s hands-on Halloween fun with no baking required! This class is perfect for families looking for a creative way to celebrate the season together. $30/group (up to 6 people with 6 marshmallow treats)
Turkey Cake Pop Decorating — Sunday, November 23, 1:00–3:00 PM Get ready for a gobbly good time! In this fun and festive family decorating class, each group will decorate eight turkey-themed cake pops using candy melts, fondant, and candy corn tail feathers. You’ll learn how to dip, decorate, and assemble these adorable Thanksgiving treats—perfect for sharing, gifting, or displaying on your holiday dessert table! $40/group (8 cake pops; up to 4 people/group)
Children 10 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult!
