About This Activity
Description
THIS PROGRAM IS ONLY OPEN TO STUDENTS WITHIN D180 (ANNE M. JEANS ELEM OR BURR RIDGE MIDDLE SCHOOL).
For players who already know the rules of chess and how the pieces move. Each class begins with a lecture designed to improve understanding of the basic fundamentals, strategy, and tactics of chess. Students will play chess against other classmates following the lecture! Instructor will provide feedback on games during gameplay.
