Let's focus on those knife skills and some delicious ways to use them! Participants will learn basic cuts including dices, julienne, mince, chiffonade, batonnet, and bias cut plus the proper way to cut onions, garlic, ginger, pineapple, avocado, tomatoes, and herbs. We will also discuss the different types of knives and sharpening. Bringing your own knives is optional, but encouraged. We will prepare: -Asian Chicken & Kale Salad with Peanut Vinaigrette -Hawaiian Salsa -Chunky Guacamole served with Tortilla Chips.
