Taught by Sally Wilson Wednesday, July 26, 6-9pm, Ages 16+ This watercolor workshop is open to beginners or any level of experience. We will explore the different approaches to watercolor painting, techniques for creating flowers quickly and loosely, as well as detailed renderings. Color theory and mixing paints, controlling the water and paint as well as creating happy accidents are a part of using watercolors. The instructor will provide photographs for reference, and we will also paint a still life. Students will take home finished work. Bring a snack for a break if you like. Material list: Watercolor paints - tubes and/or cake type, watercolor brushes, watercolor paper, watercolor palette.
