This activity is closed to further registration.
Kids ages 9-13 who are interested in mountain biking should consider participating in this free club. Kids younger than 9 will be allowed with parental participation. Practice is held Saturday mornings, April 1st through May 20th, at Waid Park. This non-competitive club is all about fun. Bike handling techniques and safety considerations will be the primary focus. This club is intended for beginner to intermediate riders. A limited supply of mountain bikes are available for use thanks to Virginia Outdoors Foundation grant (Trek Marlin 7’s). Contact Parks & Recreation at 540-483-9293 if interested. Registration is limited and will close March 29th.
Participants under the age of 9 will be allowed to register with parental participation.
