About This Activity

Description

Civic Dance Arts Rachel's Tap & Jazz Tights 2 Pair - Registering for this activity code orders 2 Pair of tights to wear for Dress Rehearsal and the Recital. If you will need only 1 pair you may order 1 pair - Civic Dance Arts Rachel's Tap & Jazz Tights 1 Pair (#104693) - click on link (Rachel's Tap & Jazz Tights 1 Pair). Must see instructor at class for more information regarding Tights sizing and recital details. Tights are non-refundable. Please note: Civic Dance Arts Tap & Jazz Tights are interchangeable among instructors (i.e. you do not need to order tights from all your instructors), however, Civic Dance Arts Ballet & Specialty tights vary by instructor and you must order those specific tights for that instructor.

All Civic Dance Arts Spring classes will be taught in person following City of San Diego's Current Mask Policy. Only registered participants will be allowed to enter the dance rooms. All registrations are required to be completed online by 8pm the day before class starts to ensure entrance into the class. As part of the registration process, participants/legal guardians will be required to acknowledge COVID-19 protocols and agree to follow them as part of their enrollment in the program or space reservation. Please make sure that most up to date email and phone contact information is on your dancer’s profile on SDRecConnect.
Priority given to continuing students from Fall 2022 semester. Emphasizes choreography for June Recitals. Costumes are mandatory to participate in our June Recitals. Please register for both the class and the costume. Must see instructor at class for more information regarding costumes, sizing, and recital details. New students will need to contact the dance office at 619-235.5255 for assistance with enrollment.
Costumes are made to order and non-refundable. Costumes are mandatory to participate in our June Recitals. It is important to remember that purchasing a costume does not guarantee a dancer will perform in recitals. They must attend classes regularly throughout the spring semester in order to be prepared to perform onstage in June. Dance, like sports, is a team activity. Regular attendance and practice help everyone in the class to shine on recital day.
NO REFUNDS on Costumes, transaction and credit card fees.
Classes meet for 10 sessions and for once a week for 45 minutes (unless indicated otherwise). The classes listed are subject to change/cancellation when enrollment minimums are not met and based on budgetary constraints. Dance instructors have final determination if their class levels are appropriate for the skills of the dancer enrolled. If the class is determined to not be a good fit, the student will be offered a transfer to another class.
All participants must meet age requirements. Pre Dancers must be able to separate from parent for entire class and must be potty trained.
Dance Attire Required: Leotard and tights or dance pants/shorts. No jeans allowed at any time. Hair tied back and out of the eyes. Appropriate shoes required. See instructor for more detailed information.
No classes: City Holidays
Please be advised that parents will not be allowed in the dance room to watch classes as it is disruptive to the students dancing. Parents may be allowed to watch the last 5 minutes of class only – per instructor discretion.
