PARTICIPANTS MUST BE IN GRADE 6, 7, OR 8 FOR THE 2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR. We welcome middle school students to join us for our third semester of Science After School. This spring, SAS students will dive deeper into Mote’s very own Shark & Ray Conservation Research program. Throughout the semester, students will have the opportunity to participate in the world’s largest shark survey, Global Finprint! We’ll analyze real time shark data, meet and learn from some of Mote’s renowned scientists, and even get a behind the scenes tour of the shark lab. If you’re a shark fin-atic like us, you won’t want to miss this semester of Science After School. Open to all 6-8th grade students. Prior attendance is not required for this program.
