Students then delve into classic masterpieces by legendary grandmasters, providing insights into renowned matches like the "Evergreen Game" and the "Opera Game" through meticulous move-by-move analysis. Hands-on practice games challenge members to implement their tactical vision, while collaborative analysis reinforces their grasp of strategic concepts like control of the center, pawn structure, and piece coordination. These immersive tactical exercises, coupled with comprehensive opening preparation and endgame drills, equip members with an unrivaled competitive edge. There will be a weekly homework that will get sent home to parents. By the session's end, students gain profound insights into positional mastery, elevated confidence in complex calculations, and the ability to craft deadly maneuvers against any opposition. Students will also learn the rules established by the USCF so they can attend any rated tournament and succeed. Castle Chess will be hosting Chess tournaments on the last Saturday of every month (9/28,10/26,11/30, & so on) at a location TBD. Dates are subject to change as we get closer to them.
