Coyle Outside Lead Instructor and local Dad Cole Culver meets 13x weekly Mondays from mid Sept to the start of Winter break in this new offering (no class Thanksgiving week). For distance learning, homeschooling and even conventional students who see the value in taking one day a week to focus on socio-experiential learning outdoors in a small group. Cole will help participants create their own culture and group goals through weekly counsel circles discussions that guide active days. Wild Tribe will work on building and developing themselves through technical wilderness skills practice, medium and long term craft and build projects and team survival scenarios that will progress in complexity. On occasion the Tribe may meet at locations other than MSY Park (within 30 minutes) to diversify experience in place and activity. Skills taught may include but not limited to Archery, Fishing, Outdoor Cooking, Survival and Bushcraft skills working toward a Fall Semester Skills Certificate.
