About This Activity
Preschool/Kibili Camp: For preschoolers, we offer a loving play group with two GISSV Kibili instructors and max. 15 children. Following German early childhood pedagogy, our program blends crafts, imaginative play, outdoor time, music and movement, and time for children to explore their own interests. The instructors speak in German only, but will respond to both spoken English and German. Children from all language levels are welcome--from total beginner to native speaker. We hope that your child will enjoy their German time, learn lots of new songs and stories, be proud of what they accomplish, and meet many new friends. AM Camp: New theme each week Students enjoy a loving environment set up for Preschoolers to explore and thrive. Crafts, games, and stories center on a weekly theme, building German vocabulary. Every day also includes lots of outdoor time and activities in the GISSV´s Kibili Playground. Students share circle and breakfast time, building their social development and readiness to learn in a school setting. Pack a little extra snack -- kids get hungry in camp! PM Camp: New theme each week After lunch, our KinderCampers rest for 1.5 hrs of quiet time/nap time in an especially set up nap classroom, where each child has a cot, pillow, blankets, and everything they need to feel comfortable. After relaxing, students enjoy more crafts, games, stories, and outdoor play centered on the weekly theme.
